ODS and Abingdon & Witney College to host employability skills session for unemployed adults
ODS is partnering with Abingdon & Witney College to host an Employability Skills Session, aimed at supporting unemployed adults in Oxfordshire.
This event will take place on Wednesday 24 July from 1pm to 4pm at the Abingdon Campus of Abingdon & Witney College, located at Wootton Road, Abingdon, OX14 1GG.
This session is designed to break down barriers to employment and provide participants with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their employability. It will feature a variety of workshops and activities, including:
CV writing: expert tips on crafting a compelling CV
Interview preparation: strategies to excel in job interviews
Apprenticeship and careers support: guidance on available opportunities and career paths
Leadership industry speakers: insights and advice from experienced industry leaders
Careers event: networking opportunities with potential employers and like-minded individuals.
Attendees will have a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher if they sign up in advance and attend on the day, providing an additional incentive to participate in this valuable session.
