For full details on how your commercial waste collections might be affected over the two May Bank Holiday weekends, please read the following information.
Early May Bank Holiday
Saturday – 3 May 2025
Business as usual
If your regular collection falls on Saturday, this will take place as normal.
Monday – 5 May 2025
No collections
If your regular collection falls on Monday, all waste (including additional collections) will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.

Spring Bank Holiday
Saturday – 24 May 2025
Business as usual
If your regular collection falls on Saturday, this will take place as normal.
Monday – 26 May 2025
No collections
If your regular collection falls on Monday, all waste (including additional collections) will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.

City Centre Commercial Waste Sacks
Sacks will be collected as normal across the bank holiday weekend (City Centre only).
All other collections remain unaffected.
