Natural England is the government’s adviser for the natural environment in England, helping to protect England’s nature and landscapes for people to enjoy and the services they provide.

Requirement

The car park at Aston Rowant National Nature Reserve was in need of complete refurbishment. The entrance arrangements also needed to be modified to improve traffic flow and maximise the number of spaces within an environmentally sensitive area. In addition the car park was to remain open throughout the works.

Solution

ODS delivered the project to the client’s exacting requirements, carrying out the refurbishment using environmentally friendly materials and methods wherever possible. Works were completed with the minimum of disruption to visitors to the Nature Reserve.

Results

Working closely with colleagues from Natural England, ODS were able to deliver the project to a high standard within a short timeframe and on budget.
